My husband and I booked the Kookaburra cottage for our anniversary and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything you need has been supplied. The cottage is well set up and comfortable. We enjoyed the private and peaceful setting, as well as having many places to enjoy a bite to eat within walking distance. The cottage was very well kept and clean. We would recommend the cottages to anyone looking for a private and relaxing get away.

From the moment we entered the cottage we felt at home. The cottage was clean, well presented and inviting. Everything was easy to find. Love the fire, the umbrella, kitchen equipment and the lap rug on the couch. Our stay started with a warm welcome from our hosts. We will be back.

Fantastic location. Beautiful well presented cottage. Lots to do around the area especially the excellent food and superb wines. We would thoroughly recommend the walk to Witches Falls Winery (and the tasting). All in all a very enjoyable stay.

What a lovely place for a quiet holiday in beautiful surroundings. The cottage was light and airy with a comfortable bed and furniture. The "little" touches made our stay perfect. Such things as filtered water, personal insect repellent, butter, spreads for breakfast, plenty of coffee and tea sachets. The cottage was sparkling clean and one of the few places we have stayed where we would loved to stay longer.

Kidd Street Cottages exceeded our expectations. We were not expecting much having booked off the internet and often places are not what they seem. When we opened the door we fell in love with Rose Cottage. Very welcoming with a wood heater for winter and a private balcony for lazy breakfasts and afternoon drinks. Would highly recommend these cottages to anyone looking to get away and relax.

If you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway with a rustic "homey" feel, close to restaurants and cafes, without that "big hotel" feel, this is the place for you.

Super, clean comfortable cottage surrounded by natural gardens. A short walk to a variety of local shops, and restaurants. Wonderful bush walk just along the road. All the facilities of Tambourine mountain a short drive away. Thoroughly recommend this property.

As part of a 10 day holiday in Queensland we decided to visit and stay on Tambourine Mountain for the first half of our trip and and it was a brilliant decision. Although the weather was stormy for the first day, it was beautiful and mystical. It was like living in a tropical rainforest in the clouds. We stayed in the Blue Wren Cottage and it was just lovely. It has a large seperate room for the children in which a double and single bed were available. The main area of the cottage was a comblned living room (with large flat screen TV), dining room and kitchen and enough space for a double bed. It also had a large verandah at the back from which you could step down into a beautiful tropical garden. The cottage was quaint, pretty and very homely and it had all the conveniences we expected. The cottages are located within walking distance to cafes, a bakery, newsagency and a supermarket. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Blue Wren cottage at Mt Tambourine and were sorry to leave.

We stayed in Kookaburra cottage and found it a lovely relaxing experience. We enjoyed being tucked away in our cottage with its very own garden which was private and felt like we were right in the rainforest. The cottage was clean and had all the necessary creature comforts including thick fluffy towels and we could also enjoy cooking a bbq on our own deck. The owners were great too even lending us a jumper as we had left ours at home. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing break away from it all as well as being around the corner from cafes and all the amenities you will need.

“Amazing!!”
My husband and I stayed in the Rose Cottage last weekend. It was amazing!! So cute and quaint. Brilliant water pressure in the shower. A lovely lit tle front patio with a BBQ. It had a fireplace (which would be rad in the winter) and loads of fire wood!! It was quiet but still right near the town!! We loved it. The only complaint was that we didn't stay longer!! :) We will definitely be back!!! If we can find a vacancy.

“The eclectic little cottage was a perfect size and layout for our requirements. Clean and fresh interior with a verandah from which to sit and enjoy the surrounding garden. The appointments and facilities were ideal in layout and functionality and do lend themselves to a longer stay. All this within walking distance of the local restaurants.”
